Children to Love Romania hosts an annual summer camp for children involved in the ministry, bringing together about 50 youth from the Homes of Hope, the Families Program, orphanages and other government-run centers where CTL Romania regularly serves. Each year, the Holy Spirit works in powerful ways and meaningful bonds are formed and strengthened. This year was no exception— many children experienced God’s love in tangible ways, some for the very first time!
Maria's Journey Toward Faith at Summer Camp

Maria, 13, was placed this year at Ciresarii Center, a government-run orphanage in Bucharest where CTL Romania does weekly outreach. Removed from an unstable home by Child Protective Services, she met CTL staff and was later invited to summer camp for the first time.
Maria once identified as a Satanist, following her mother's example. She has also faced struggles with gender identity and mental health. But at camp, she learned about God’s unconditional love and what it means to follow Christ.
Maria shared that conversations with leaders, prayers and worship songs impacted her most, igniting in her a desire to know God more deeply. Please pray for Maria as CTL Romania continues to walk alongside her. The seeds planted at camp are just the beginning of God’s work in her life.
More Stories of Impact from Summer Camp
Thank you to the CTL Romania staff, the Laurelglen Bible Church team and all of the generous friends of CTL who help to share God's love each day! Please continue praying for the youth in Romania, that God's Word would continue to take root in their hearts and bring transformation and hope to their lives!
