INDIA

Children to Love partners with a locally led ministry in India serving vulnerable children and families in the name of Jesus.

The ministry provides residential care for children who have experienced abandonment, abuse, trafficking risks, extreme poverty or the loss of one or both parents. The ministry also supports vulnerable families through nutrition programs, vocational training, discipleship, access to education and community outreach.

In a place where children are especially vulnerable to exploitation and instability, the ministry works to create safe, loving environments where children can grow physically, emotionally and spiritually while receiving education, daily care and the hope of the Gospel.

Because of increasing persecution toward Christians in India, we intentionally limit identifying details online in order to protect the safety of the children, staff and ministry leaders we serve alongside. We are grateful for your understanding and invite you to contact us directly if you would like to learn more.

How You Can Pray for Our Partner in India

Praise God for the ongoing growth and impact of the ministry among vulnerable children and families.

Pray for the children as they grow academically, physically and spiritually.

Pray that families in the community would experience hope, stability and the love of Christ through the ministry.

Pray for strength, courage and safety for those serving in the ministry as they navigate growing pressures and opposition to their faith.

Sewing program for widows and single mothers in India

A Story of Purpose in India

More than a decade ago, Rama joined the ministry's sewing program as a single mother struggling to support her two sons. As part of the program's very first class, she learned valuable sewing skills, received her own sewing machine and began building a more stable future for her family.

Over the years, Rama continued her training, became an instructor in the program and helped equip more than 40 women with skills to earn income and support their families. She was able to put both of her sons through school, and today they are attending college.

Most recently, Rama opened her own tailoring business alongside four other sewing program graduates. What began as an opportunity for one mother has grown into a legacy of empowerment, helping women gain confidence, provide for their families and break cycles of poverty for future generations.
