What is Homes of Hope?
Homes of Hope is made up of two family-style apartments in Bucharest, Romania—one for boys and one for girls—where children who have been orphaned or abandoned are raised in a safe, loving, Christ-centered home.
Many of the children who come into Homes of Hope have experienced deep instability—whether through broken family situations or time spent in institutional care. Their early years are often marked by uncertainty, trauma, and a lack of consistent support.
Here, children are not just cared for—they are known. They grow up as family, surrounded by consistent support, guidance, and the kind of stability that allows them to heal, grow, and begin to see a future filled with hope.
Homes of Hope exists to help change that story—providing a place where trust is rebuilt, where children are nurtured, and where each child is given the opportunity to grow in a healthy, Godly environment. Over time, what was once uncertainty begins to be replaced with confidence, belonging, and hope.
The Homes of Hope Apartment Project
This campaign is focused on purchasing the two Homes of Hope apartments in Bucharest, Romania. These homes currently operate as rentals and provide safe, family-style care for children who have been orphaned or abandoned.
By securing ownership, we can create long-term stability, remove a significant monthly expense, and allow more resources to be directed toward caring for and supporting each child.
The Challenge
While these homes provide stability and care, they currently operate as rentals—requiring a significant monthly expense.
This ongoing cost creates a limitation. Resources that could otherwise be invested into caregivers, discipleship, and the daily support that helps each child thrive are instead directed toward rent.
The Opportunity
This campaign is an opportunity to purchase both Homes of Hope apartments, creating permanent, stable homes for the children who live there.
By removing the burden of monthly rent, the ministry can steward resources more effectively and focus more fully on what matters most—providing consistent, Christ-centered care and support for each child.

What is CTL Romania?
CTL Romania is a Christ-centered local ministry partner of Children to Love International, serving vulnerable children and families in Bucharest. The team consistently enters government-run orphanages to build relationships, share the Gospel, and provide emotional, spiritual, and practical support to children in institutional care.
CTL Romania also serves low-income and at-risk families, Roma communities, children with special needs, and patients in pediatric oncology units—walking alongside each with ongoing care, support, and the hope of Christ.
What is Children to Love International?
Children to Love International is a global nonprofit that serves alongside local ministries in five countries to care for vulnerable children and families. Through Child Sponsorship and community-based programs, CTL works to meet physical needs while sharing the love of Christ, empowering local leaders and helping children grow in safe, supportive environments.
