Julie came on board at CTL in October of 2018 after spending almost 5 years in the field of Public Relations and Marketing. She has a knack for coordinating, writing, designing and has a deep love for copy editing and silently correcting people’s grammar. Julie graduated from Fresno Pacific University in 2010 with a degree in Communications and moved back to Bakersfield in 2011. Since then, she’s been using her degree in various capacities and growing in her communications skills. Julie married the love of her life, Julio, in October 2022 and the couple lives in Bakersfield. 

 

Julie is the one behind almost everything you see online about Children to Love, whether it’s our social media pages, our website, or email marketing. Her job is storytelling, and she directs and helps design all our print pieces and works alongside our President to determine our communications strategies for the organization. Julie loves working for CTL because it’s a dream come true. For as long as she can remember she knew she had a heart to be in full-time vocational ministry someday, and now that is a reality. She knows that her years of experience in other businesses and organizations has prepared her to be at CTL.

 

The highlight of Julie’s time at CTL was traveling to Romania and Ukraine in 2023 to visit the staff and children. Meeting many of them in person ignited her passion for what she does and how she’s able to contribute to the ministries.

 

Favorite scripture: “I’ve had many over the years, but currently mine is Psalm 91:11, ‘For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways.’”
