Jane came on board at CTL in 2016, after spending over 20 years in the oil industry. She moved to Bakersfield in 1972 to finish college at CSUB, where she earned a Bachelor’s in English Lit with a minor in History and Music (explains why she considers herself a “bibliophile”). She also met her husband Bill at CSUB, while playing ping-pong! They married in 1974 and began attending First Presbyterian in Bakersfield, where they still worship on a weekly basis. She and Bill have three children and two grandchildren.
Jane keeps our office humming as she is primarily responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, HR, insurance, etc. She loves working for CTL because it gives her a real-life perspective of international ministry, bringing it literally “to her doorstep” when our international partners visit the States. Jane says, “These relationships allow me to truly feel a part of the larger body of Christ.”
Favorite scripture: “There are too many to name. I love Psalm 8, the prayers in Ephesians and Philippians, the Messianic scriptures in Isaiah; Romans…where do I begin?”
We asked Jane, "If you were a pasta shape, what shape would you be and why?"
Jane: “According to Myers Briggs, I am probably a spinach ravioli, because evidently ravioli’s (and I) don’t need to go out to have a good time – I can have ‘a party in my head’ (whatever).”
