Cheryl Bauer

Cheryl most recently retired after spending 18 years working for the County of Kern. She has found the opportunity to further the mission of CTL by using her gifts and expertise a very rewarding experience.

Before coming on board as the Accounting Associate at CTL, Cheryl has participated through her church on several short-term mission trips. One of those trips was the 2019 CTL St. John’s Lutheran team to Ukraine. She says that her experience was profound and further defined what she wanted her future to look like.

Cheryl has two sons, Rick and Robert, as well as two grandsons Alex, 20 months old, and Richard, 6 months old. Cheryl enjoys spending her free time in activities which include her family and friends. Additional activities include Bible Study, gardening, and membership in other church and community organizations.

Cheryl’s favorite scripture is Psalm 118:24, “This is the day which the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”

We asked Cheryl, "If you were a pasta shape, what shape would you be and why?"

Cheryl: “Homemade gnocchi, it’s an old family favorite!”
